The publication is based on the seminar The Past and Present of Guided Tours, organised by Pedaali in May 2008, and on a study the association conducted on tour guides’ job descriptions and employment contracts. Together, the material collected from the seminar and the study form a picture of the realities of present-day guided tours. It also includes examples of various new forms of museum guiding.
